Bonus: I Do a Little Layer for You
To live without you (subscribers) would only mean heartbreak for me...
Hiiiii. For May’s first subscriber bonus post, I was compelled to consider how four items can be styled in layers to suit any season or temperature, as Buenos Aires has a spurt of anthropomorphic climate change denial and has given us some 80 degree days in what’s allegedly the de facto beginning of winter, and I have had my own ongoing crisis watching my stateside friends post bounties of tulips and daffodils as I wake up for the third time in a row with a weather-induced bloody nose.
This post will give you something to work with no matter which side of the equator you’re on, with three outfits per featured piece that would work in hot/temperate/chilly weather, in that order. Many pieces rec’d are from independent Argentine brands (check the unofficial exchange rate here and be floored by the affordability), and any unavailable or secondhand clothes have alternate recs, because you KNOW I’d never leave you high and dry. One piece is outside of the paywall to give you something to look at whether you’re subbed or not!
Also, if you saw the title of this post and immediately thought of this, you’re gay!
Enjoy, and if you’re interested in receiving a minimum of two bonus posts per month, sign up below or HERE is a link to subsidized subs for two or less bucks a month! Feel free to share this newsletter with a friend and respond to this email telling me you did it if you aren’t able to afford the two dollars and I will comp you a month’s subscription.
