Have so many of the same foot/ankle issues and a few others, and know I need to work my way into barefoot to strengthen the muscles. These are the best, least bullshit review, ty so much!! I’ve been eying the bedrock cairn sandals for ages but sizing for narrow feet seems tricky

I am so delighted to stumble across this exact article as a fellow EDS-er who spends too much time thinking about shoes! So specific and helpful, thank you!!

So fun and interesting! I always wear hiking boots when I travel but I wonder if I should switch to something else after reading this, for all the walking. Sounds like something I would need to work up to:) For workout shoes, I will say ever since I started working out in ballet flats I've had hardly any foot pain.

Thank you for this! I also recently jumped feet first (heh) into the barefoot shoe world, after my mom got a truly horrifying bunion surgery and I resolved I will do all I can to not have that be me in 30 years. I got the Origo huaraches and they amazing! One of my favorite shoe styles but unlike every other pair I tried in the past, which were unwearable, these are actually comfortable! I will say that despite the reviews, sizing down was the wrong move for me - I ended up returning for my normal sandal size and they are perfect.

Thanks so much or this -- it's like you read my mind. I've been circling the v-soul for a year now and just can't pull the trigger..it's got the look that I want but I'm afraid for my uptight feet. Very much looking forward to your stylings!

And here I was thinking you were going to be reviewing those Chanel "shoes" that are only heels...

Thank you for all the info! I bought the original vivabarefoot ballet flats one year ago and I love them. I did have to take them to a cobbler for new Velcro. I try to move around a lot and walk and I wanna look cute and these shoes help with that. I wear them to lift weights, go to the park and to see concerts.

I am still on the hunt for a barefoot sandal I can wear with socks and a heel that I can walk a billion steps in. Stoked to see the outfits

I barefoot heels don’t exist because one of the tenets of barefoot shoes is zero drop, like no angle between the heel and toe! Thank you for the info, I really want to try Vivo :-)

I know I was just adding another shoe I wanna walk a billion miles in

This is such a great round-up! I'm so dismayed that those Dolfie's are out of stock in my size
