Love this! May I recommend an artist? He is 78 and used to be unhoused. A local artist here in Mexico met him and set him an IG profile so they can sell his drawings and a few collab t-shirts (I own one) to support him. He now has a home, is able to buy groceries and art supplies, and has been featured in a few local art shows:
I love your taste in art, and that hedgehog is going to haunt my dreams. I am a big proponent of only having real art on my walls, like actually paintings or paintings or prints the artist or photographer did themselves.
Musinsa is reputable! They have a bunch of stores in Seoul. I’d say they’re kind of like a Korean H&M or Zara?
I’ve only been to their stores in person, though. Never tried to ship to the US. And I remember my partner saying the menswear sizing was a bit odd, like much boxier than he wanted. I can’t remember how I liked the womenswear.
Wait these recs are so good! The clothes but also the art!! Love.
“Unfortunately it’s like a million dollars” made me laugh - finally a fashion substack that doesn’t assume that a $485 coat is a drop in the bucket!
