Hi! I’m having a stressful time of it (no apartment and not enough job, lol), so I decided to do a speed run of the only shows on the Vogue website I care an ounce about (I reserve the right to change my mind and add if I missed something). You can read my NYFW accounts to get an idea of what I cared about in the off-schedule shows I attended (JRAT was the best!), but in regard to the Anna Wintour-sanctioned runways, only a handful truly galvanized me. Below, you’ll find them, complete with my favorite looks and bullets on what I noticed/enjoyed about each, plus a review at the end rounding up all the common threads I noticed between this selection of shows and other concepts and things that moved my soul (let’s just say I’m a big proponent of tucking baggy pants into skinny boots). Thanks for being here! And if you haven’t in a while, please reread the below section—I could really use your shares, and if you want a free subscription, sharing is the easiest way to get one :-)
If you like these posts, please let me know by liking and commenting here or on Esque’s Instagram, subbing to the Esque Substack (this) for free, getting bonus posts for five bucks a month, or for ZERO DOLLARS, share (tag me if on IG so I can see and thank you)! If you share with three friends (or enemies), you’ll automatically get a free month’s subscription to Esque’s paywalled posts.
If you cannot afford the $5/month, I totally understand—respond to any of my email sends and I will get you a $2 subscription or comp you, whatever you need. Esque is for everyone!
Thank you SO MUCH for your support, whatever you are able and willing to do to help is extremely valuable to me and I’m honored to be a small part of your life on the web.
